Proud Sponsors of the Production Manager’s Forum.

The PMF is a platform that brings together Production Managers from various industries

JHAV Proudly sponsor the Production Manager’s Forum.

At JHAV, we have always believed in the power of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. Which is why we are thrilled to now be the Production Sponsor of the Production Manager’s Forum (PMF).

The PMF is a platform that brings together Production Managers from various industries to share insights, discuss challenges and explore the latest trends in production management. The forum is renowned for its quality networking opportunities, sharing of jobs and friendly sharing of production management stories and experiences.

Our decision to sponsor the PMF stems from our dedication to fostering professional growth and industry excellence. Funding an organisation that can assist Production Managers and facilitate these conversations seemed a no brainer!

Lighting up the Zoo!

In October we helped transform Dartmoor Zoo into a spooky spectacle with various lighting packages throughout the park. Opening at dusk, it promised a frightfully good evening.

From eerie shadows cast on the animal enclosures to mysterious glows illuminating a giant spiderweb, the zoo was transformed into a ghostly realm. One of our team members dared to visit (but didn’t attempt the haunted circus – she wanted to be able to sleep at night!).

If you’re someone who loves the festive season, we’re also involved in Zooluminate again this December, providing a series of enchanting light installations around the Zoo – check out more here.

LED Theatre Sets

Are you planning your next theatre production?

Then an LED theatre set could be what you need!

LED theatre sets can be a cost-effective way of having multiple set designs, without having to build each one or organise scene changes during the show!

Our experienced team will work closely with you to design and construct the screens that meet your exact specifications. Not only that, but we’ll also take care of managing the content throughout the show.

Already have your own Video Tech?

No problem!

We’ll ensure everything is show-ready and smoothly hand it over to your team.

We were recently involved with Falmouth Theatre Company’s recent production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, where we provided 3 Lightking 3.9mm LED screens controlled via Novastar, Resolume and Stream Deck; all programmed and ready for their Video Tech to work their magic!

More Art, Less Noise

Research, testing, and getting input from all our industry peers is key to ensuring we are providing the right tools for the job

At JHAV we have known for a long time that research, testing, and getting input from all our industry peers is key to ensuring we are providing the right tools for the job. One of our latest investments is with the brand D&B Audiotechnik. The new ground-breaking XSL Cardioid Line Array is their latest addition to the SL series of products.

So, what is Cardioid? Simply, it allows us to put sound where you want it and keep it out of the area’s you don’t. This applies to live music venues, festival sites, large conference venues, expos, and engagement style events.

What does this mean for clients, event promoters, the local licensing authority or residents living close to site?

Best off-site noise control in its class, meaning the sound is only going where you want it (JHAV work closely with promoters and licensing to achieve best possible off-site outcome).

Reduced reflections and spill allowing for a cleaner controlled experience for the engineers, performers, and audience.

It’s greener – the size, weight, and amplification power keeps our Co2 consumption lower than alternative products.

So, if you have a project coming up where you need to achieve “More Art, Less Noise” get in touch!
